PGCert and MA Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication

The PGCert and MA Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication are currently being revalidated, and will soon be advertised on the Teaching and Learning Exchange website. If you would like to learn more about joining or continuing on the new programme starting in January 2017, we would like to invite you to one of the College open days taking place from 31 May:

London College of Communications Central Saint Martins
London College of Fashion Camberwell, Chelsea & Wimbledon Central

11am-1pm, Tuesday 31 May (Room M 404)

12pm-2pm, Thursday 2 June (Room D 117)

11am-1pm, Tuesday 14 June (Room JPS 607)

11am-1pm, Wednesday 22 June (Room E 201 Chelsea)

12pm-2pm, Wednesday 15 June (Room HH 704 High Holborn)

You can attend any of the open days no matter which College you belong to, or if you are external to UAL. The open days will provide an excellent opportunity for anyone with an academic or academic related role to meet unit leaders to discuss:

  • The full range of units available in 2017 spanning themes relating to education, researcher development and academic leadership.
  • Opportunities to enrol on stand alone units for continuing professional development
  • Working towards a PGCert or MA
  • Professional recognition with the Higher Education Academy (HEA) as Associate Fellow or Fellow
  • The professional award in Supervising Postgraduate Research with the Staff and EducationalDevelopment Association (SEDA).
    The application deadline for units starting in 2017 will be 5pm on Friday 23 September 2016. About Us

    The Teaching and Learning Exchange’s PGCert and MA programme focuses on professional development for educators, researchers and academic leaders within art, design and communication disciplines. We encourage applications from graduates across the full range of academic and academic related job roles whether new to working in higher education or more experienced. We encourage all participants to explore their academic practice from a disciplinary lens, providing a wide range of study and assessment modes that reflect the many ways in which we work and learn.
