We invite you to join us for the 6th in our series of In Conversation events with artists exhibiting at The International 3. Set within the context of Hondartza Fraga?s solo exhibition, Not for Navigation, please join us for an evening of conversation relating to the artist’s practice and a last chance opportunity to view the exhibition before it closes on 24th February.

Dr. Teresa Anderson (Director of Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre) and Mary Doyle (co-director Drawing Room, London) will lead the event examining key themes within Hondartza?s work and concluding with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

SATURDAY 25th FEBRUARY // In Conversation : Louise Giovanelli with Charlotte Keenan McDonald (Curator of British Art, National Museums Liverpool) and Book Launch

To coincide with her exhibition Slow to Respond, Louise Giovanelli will discuss the processes and themes in her work with Charlotte Keenan McDonald (Curator of British Art, National Museums Liverpool). The event will also see the launch of a new publication focusing on Louise?s work. The publication is the first to be produced on the artist and brings together documentation of three solo exhibitions undertaken in 2016 and 2017 at Grundy Art Gallery (Blackpool), The International 3 (Salford) and Touchstones Rochdale alongside a commissioned text written by Charlotte Keenan McDonald, a Foreword by Paulette Terry Brien (Co-director The International 3) and an extract from an ongoing conversation between Charlotte and Louise. The book is published by Anomie and is designed by Textbook Studio.
